Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program (except in locations permitted by law for exemption).
• Current BLS certification; willingness to obtain DOT certification.
• 1+ years experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Great communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, patient history and triage.
• Assist with procedures such as incision and drainage, lacerations and wound care.
• Administer medications intradermal, intramuscular and subcutaneous; perform ear lavages and ECGs.
