Back Office Medical Assistant

Compensation

Hourly: $21 - $28.79, commensurate with experience, skills, and education. Benefits include uniforms, incentives, health benefits, PTO, and 401K matching.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support back-office operations with the Office Manager
• Report liability issues and patient complaints
• Prepare exam rooms and instruments
• Assist with procedures like biopsies, excisions, Cryotherapy, I&D
• Verify patient information and obtain consents
• Support providers during procedures and patient care
• Record patient data accurately in EMR
• Administer injections, remove sutures, and assist with wound care
• Maintain logs, sterilize equipment, and manage supplies
• Participate in ongoing education and training

Standing, typing, lifting up to 45 pounds, and other physical activities required.

Position Type and Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday, with potential for evening and weekend hours.

Up to 50% travel across clinics in the Inland Empire area.

Education and Experience

• Medical Assistant Certification (preferred), 2+ years experience, dermatology preferred
• BLS and First Aid certifications (preferred)
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT codes
