Back Office Medical Assistant-Travel Team (Southern Region)

Position Details
  • This position requires travel to clinic locations in Hemet, Temecula, Murrieta, and Corona.
  • Supports the Office Manager in back-office operations, patient care, and clinic procedures.
  • Assists with patient scheduling, preparation, and documentation, including EMR data entry.
  • Prepares patients and assists providers during medical and surgical procedures.
  • Maintains sterilization and inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
  • Ensures compliance with safety, CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Participates in ongoing education and maintains necessary certifications.
Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Certification Program and national certification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a medical clinic, dermatology preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certifications.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and medical equipment.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT codes, and HIPAA regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and liability insurance.
  • Ability to lift 25-45 pounds and travel up to 90% as needed.
