Job summary

Burlington Stores in Philadelphia is seeking a Full-Time Retail Stocking Team Supervisor to lead the Back of House operations, oversee receiving, unloading, and the flow of merchandise to the sales floor. As a core member of the store leadership team, you will supervise associates, coach on the job, and ensure adherence to safety, shrink reduction, and company policies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail, off-price, big box, or specialty environment.
• Strong interpersonal, engaging communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to move, lift, and handle store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandise progression process (receiving deliveries, unloading, sorting cartons, and moving goods to the sales floor).
• Maintain back-of-house cleanliness, setup, and organization to standard.
• Reinforce asset protection strategies to reduce shortages and protect merchandise.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by following company guidelines.
• Coach associates in the moment and provide recognition for performance.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
