Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group is seeking a Back of House Service Technician to support our culinary team at Convene 530 Fifth Avenue. You will maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment, and uphold sanitation standards while working with the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities include dish room care, washing pots and pans, ensuring proper temperatures, and assisting other kitchen functions.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible with long hours and shift work.
• Strong attention to detail and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Care and cleaning of kitchen equipment, dish room and pot washing areas.
• Operate and maintain dish room equipment according to sanitary standards.
• Wash pots, pans, trays and other cooking and serving equipment.
• Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
• Maintain and refresh restrooms and ensure proper temperatures.
• Follow HACCP principles and maintain sanitation in handling food and equipment.
• Assist other kitchen functions as needed.
