Chick-fil-A Rivers Avenue is seeking an exceptional Back of House Operations Manager to lead our grand reopening and establish a high-performing kitchen team in North Charleston, SC. You will drive quality, consistency, and execution, serving as Leader on Duty and coaching a diverse BOH crew through busy shifts.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and a hands-on approach to develop Team Leads and Team Members while maintaining Chick-fil-A standards, food safety, and sanitation

Chick-fil-A Rivers Avenue is entering an exciting new chapter — and we’re looking for an exceptional Back of House Operations Manager to help lead our grand reopening!

What You’ll Do:

As a Back of House Operations Manager, you’ll lead the kitchen team and help deliver the quality, consistency, and execution our guests count on.

• Serving as Leader on Duty and leading BOH shifts with clarity, calm, and urgency
• Becoming proficient in every Back of House position and coaching others to do the same
• Ensuring food is prepared, cooked, and presented to Chick-fil-A quality standards
• Maintaining recipe knowledge, food safety, sanitation, storage, and cleaning standards
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, stocked, and ready for every shift
• Coaching and developing Team Leads, Trainers, and Team Members through clear feedback
• Owning an area of BOH operations and leading improvements in systems, execution, or team development
• Staying calm and effective during high-volume periods while protecting team culture and the guest experience
• Supporting our grand-reopening goals through disciplined execution and strong communication
• Attending Operations Manager meetings and completing additional duties assigned by senior leadership

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a leader ready to help launch this next chapter and grow with the team:

• Proven ability to lead and develop a small team
• Strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and a hands-on leadership style
• Coachable, positive, and committed to developing people
• ServSafe Certification is a plus
• Available to work five days per week, most Saturdays, and at least one closing shift weekly
• Open availability and the ability to work at least 40 hours per week
• Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment with a strong sense of urgency
• Able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and lift or carry up to 50 lbs
• Eligible to work in the United States
