Kitchen Director
Chick-fil-A Hillcrest Shopping Center | Full-Time
We're looking for a Kitchen Director who brings enthusiasm, energy, and a people-first approach to leading our back-of-house (BOH) team. This hands-on leader will help deliver safe, high-quality food in a clean, organized kitchen while developing team members and taking ownership of results.

What You'll Do
- Lead with enthusiasm: Bring positive energy to the kitchen, encourage team members, celebrate progress, and help the team stay focused during busy shifts.

- Manage inventory: Oversee ordering, inventory counts, product rotation, and stock levels to support daily operations and reduce waste.
- Lead food safety: Train, coach, and hold the team accountable for food safety standards and procedures.
- Maintain BOH cleanliness: Lead cleaning routines and ensure the kitchen stays clean, organized, and ready for service.
- Support scheduling: Assist with BOH scheduling to ensure appropriate coverage for business needs.
- Maintain equipment: Coordinate routine maintenance, identify equipment concerns, and follow through on repairs.
- Build team depth: Identify and communicate staffing, skill, and leadership coverage needs. Partner with the Training Director to develop team members to meet those needs.
- Lead food cost performance: Review food cost reports, set goals, and lead the team toward achieving them through portion accuracy, waste reduction, and inventory control.
- Manage the kitchen supplies budget: Monitor spending and maintain adequate supplies within budget.
- Lead while serving: Work alongside the team, communicate priorities, and support consistent food quality, accuracy, and efficiency.

- Chick-fil-A experience is a plus, but it is not required.
Schedule Requirements
This is a full-time role requiring morning, evening, and Saturday availability (Sundays OFF). You will need flexibility to be able to check in with both morning and evening teams in order to ensure our kitchen is running as effectively as possible. You will have a team of Shift Leaders and Specialists (trainers) under your direct supervision to aid and support in accomplishing this.
