Job summary

Pepp & Dolores, part of Thunderdome Restaurant Group, seeks an Assistant Kitchen Manager for our OTR location. Support the Kitchen Manager and lead the back-of-house team to deliver consistent, high-quality dishes.

Responsibilities include hiring, training, scheduling, and developing staff, upholding brand standards, and ensuring safety and sanitation. Benefits start on day one: medical, vision, dental, life insurance, PTO, and 401K eligibility.

Qualifications

• Assisting with leading the back of the house team.
• Hiring, training, scheduling and developing all back of the house team members and holding them accountable to our highest standards.
• Execution of taste plate to ensure the highest quality of food product at all times.
• Ensure recipes are updated and adhered to the brand standard.
• Monitor and ensure proper compliance of safety, sanitation and health standards.
• Implementation and management of all Thunderdome Restaurant Groups standards and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead back-of-house team under Kitchen Manager.
• Hire, train, schedule, and develop team while upholding standards.
• Ensure high-quality food by executing taste plates.
• Update recipes to match brand standards.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and health compliance.
• Implement and manage Thunderdome standards.
