Job summary

Carolina's Mexican Food, Inc. in Peoria, AZ is seeking a dedicated Back of House Team Member to support our kitchen and restaurant operations. You will help with food preparation, cooking, cleaning and dishwashing while following recipes and health guidelines.

Key duties include preparing tortillas, assembling dishes, maintaining clean workstations and proper equipment handling. Training is provided, and a flexible schedule plus comprehensive benefits are offered to qualified team members.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Bilingual preferred but not mandatory.
• Team collaboration and ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to cleanliness and sanitation in all tasks.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and handle kitchen equipment safely.
• Food handler certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: wash, cut, and marinate tortillas ingredients.
• Cooking: assist in cooking and assembling dishes per recipes.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: keep kitchen clean and sanitize workstations.
• Equipment Handling: use and maintain kitchen equipment; report malfunctions.
• Support Duties: assist with other tasks during peak times.
