Job summary

Carolina's Mexican Food in Peoria is seeking a Back of House Team Member (Full Time or Part Time) to support our kitchen operations. You will assist with food prep, cooking, cleaning and dishwashing, ensuring fast, accurate service during peak hours.

Experience in a kitchen is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Must be willing to obtain a food handler certification. Bilingual abilities are a plus, and a team-oriented mindset is essential.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Assist with preparing tortillas and ingredients for cooking.
• Cooking: Participate in cooking and assembling dishes following recipes.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the kitchen clean and organized and follow sanitation guidelines.
• Equipment Handling: Use and maintain kitchen equipment; report malfunctions or safety issues.
• Support Duties: Assist with various tasks to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
