Job summary
Chick-fil-A at Shepherdstown Crossing in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking a Kitchen Shift Leader for the Back of House to join the leadership team. This hands-on supervisor role requires caring, organized, and customer-focused individuals who can manage fast-paced kitchen operations.
As part of the Leadership Team you will train BOH staff, oversee food safety and quality, and ensure timely preparation. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work Saturdays, and open/close shifts; great growth
Qualifications
- Experience leading teams in a kitchen/fast‑food setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for 9 hours.
- Strong coaching and development skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Availability for weekends; able to open/close.
- Willingness to train on all BOH roles.
Responsibilities
- Lead BOH team to deliver high quality meals.
- Maintain food safety and team safety standards.
- Ensure food quality meets Chick-fil-A standards.
- Train BOH staff per Chick-fil-A guidelines.
- Lead shift and manage food prep, waste reduction.
- Operate hands-on in kitchen as needed.
