Job summary

Texas Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support the Kitchen Manager in daily back-of-house operations, including food preparation, ordering, receiving, and presentation. You will help maintain safety, quality, and efficiency to deliver Legendary Food and Legendary Service.

The role emphasizes hands-on supervision, training, and contributing to a positive restaurant culture with a focus on teamwork and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily back-of-house production
• Monitor tickets and pace during peak hours
• Assist with ordering, receiving, prep and presentation of food
• Ensure proper handling, maintenance and storage of all items
• Manage inventory and track waste under Kitchen Manager guidance
• Maintain cleanliness and equipment upkeep
• Enforce safety and recipe adherence in BOH
• Contribute to a safe, energized restaurant culture
