Texas Roadhouse is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing daily Back of House operations, including receiving, preparation, and presentation of food. This role involves hands-on leadership in a busy kitchen and close collaboration with management.

You will enforce safety and quality standards, monitor tickets during peak hours, manage inventory, and uphold our culture of passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees the production of food
• Enforces compliance with employment policies in area of responsibility
• Monitors tickets and sets the pace during peak hours
• Manages through hands-on supervision of the restaurant including serving, hosting, cooking, etc.
• Conducts formal line Taste and Temp checks
• Ensures proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Manages inventory and tracks waste
• Monitors and maintains cleanliness and maintenance of equipment
• Ensures consistency in food and service to increase sales
• Practices safe food handling procedures
• Ensures Back of House employees follow recipes and procedures
• Develops Back of House employees and maintains a safe environment
• Maintains cleanliness and guest safety at all times
• Keeps the restaurant culture with core values: passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose
• Maintains a fun culture with flexible schedules, discounts, recognition, training, and growth opportunities
