Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking a Back Plant Operator in MA to ensure safe, efficient operation of the back ash area within the industrial disposal process. You’ll monitor equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support daily operations with a focus on safety and reliability.

Responsibilities include daily walkdowns, system monitoring, and collaboration with the maintenance team during morning kickoffs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting conveyors, belts, rollers, and related systems.
• Experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or Equipment Operator is a strong plus.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Strong commitment to safety, communication, and teamwork.
• Must possess or be able to quickly obtain MA 1C/2C Hoisting License.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of the back ash area and related equipment for defects.
• Monitor equipment performance and system cleanliness.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and assist with repairs.
• Participate in daily team kickoff meetings to review work plans.
• Support scheduled shutdowns to complete repairs safely.
• Operate industrial equipment, including front-end loaders (experience preferred).
• Complete inspections using weekly activity books and checklists.
• Enforce lock-out/tag-out procedures during maintenance.
• Report issues and submit repair requests through work orders.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant back ash area.
