Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Bachelor's Level Mental Health Professional to join Chillicothe Correctional Center in Chillicothe, Missouri. You will provide basic mental health treatment through psycho-educational groups and mental health rounds, under supervision of licensed staff.

Responsibilities include discharge planning and re-entry support, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences from an accredited institution.
• Experience conducting psycho-educational groups preferred.
• Experience in a correctional environment preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must show CPR/BLS certification

Responsibilities

• Provide basic mental health treatment in psycho-educational groups and mental health rounds.
• Assist with discharge planning and re-entry.
• Serve in supportive roles to the mental health staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team in a correctional setting.
