Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a licensed mental health professional (LPC or LCSW) to provide comprehensive behavioral health care at Chillicothe Correctional Center in Missouri. The role involves intake, assessments, crisis intervention, and therapy within a correctional setting.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and active Missouri licensure, CPR/BLS, and a background check. Monday–Friday days with on-site duties and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Active Missouri license: LPC or LCSW.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
• Two years’ direct care experience with individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Background investigation and security clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services in a correctional setting, including intake and assessments.
• Conduct crisis intervention and treatment planning.
• Consult with a multi-disciplinary team and participate in care coordination.
• Deliver individual and group therapy to patients.
