Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a licensed/qualified mental health professional for the Southeast Correctional Center in Charleston, Missouri. The role provides mental health services, including intake, assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and therapy in a correctional setting.

The position requires a Master’s degree and active Missouri licensure (LPC/LCSW/LMFT), CPR/BLS, and prior direct care experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Active Missouri Independent mental health professional license: LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support certification.
• Two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health services to patients in a correctional setting.
• Conduct intake and assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
• Consult with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
