Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Bachelor's Level Mental Health Professional for Algoa Correctional Center in Jefferson City, MO. Collaborate with licensed staff to deliver psycho-educational groups and rounds, support discharge planning, and participate with a multidisciplinary team in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities include basic mental health treatment, group facilitation, and re-entry planning in a state correctional facility, with day shifts and competitive pay rates based

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling or related field) from an accredited educational institution required
• Experience conducting psycho-educational groups preferred
• Experience in a correctional environment preferred
• Minimum of one year experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

Responsibilities

• Provides basic mental health treatment through psycho-educational groups and mental health rounds
• Assists with discharge planning/re-entry
• Serves in supportive roles to the mental health staff under supervision
• Works with multidisciplinary treatment team in a correctional setting
