Job summary

Centurion Health in Bonne Terre, MO seeks a Bachelor's Level Mental Health Professional to provide basic mental health treatment in a correctional setting. You will run psycho-educational groups and mental health rounds, assist with discharge planning/re-entry, and support the treatment team under supervision of licensed staff.

Shift is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, holidays, FSA, CE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling or related field) from an accredited educational institution required
• Experience conducting psycho-educational groups preferred
• Experience in a correctional environment preferred
• Minimum of one year experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred
• Must show current CPR/BLS certification
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide psycho-educational groups and mental health rounds.
• Assist with discharge planning and re-entry.
• Work under supervision of licensed staff within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Support mental health staff in a correctional setting.
