Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Bachelor's Level Mental Health Professional to join Chillicothe Correctional Center in Chillicothe, Missouri. You will provide basic mental health treatment through psycho-educational groups and mental health rounds, under supervision of licensed staff.

Responsibilities include discharge planning and re-entry support, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team in a correctional setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences from an accredited institution.
• Experience conducting psycho-educational groups preferred.
• Experience in a correctional environment preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must show CPR/BLS certification

We are currently seeking a full-time Bachelor's Level Mental Health Professional to join our team at Chillicothe Correctional Center located in Chillicothe, Missouri.

The Bachelor's Level Mental Health Professional provides basic mental health treatment in the form of psycho-educational groups and mental health rounds, and assists with discharge planning/re-entry, and serves in other supportive roles, as requested, to the mental health staff under the supervision of licensed mental health staff in collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team in a correctional setting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in the social sciences (i.e. psychology, social work, counseling or related field) from an accredited educational institution required
• Experience conducting psycho-educational groups preferred
• Experience in a correctional environment preferred
• Minimum of one year experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred
• Must show current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable

Available Shift:

Monday-Friday, Days, 8:00am-4:30pm
