Brief Position Description:
The Client Resources Liaison will serve as the primary point of contact for individuals seeking information, assistance, and referrals to local services. This role will stay up to date on community resources, build relationships with service providers, and maintain an organized system for sharing accurate information with clients and staff. Serving closely with our direct services team, they will ensure timely follow-up, clear communication, and comprehensive support for those reaching out for help. By focusing exclusively on resource navigation, this position will enhance our capacity to meet community needs and strengthen the impact of our services.
Day in Life of JV
The JV/AmeriCorps would begin at the front desk, greeting walk-in clients, answering phone calls, and checking messages for individuals seeking assistance. After settling in, they review their schedule, follow up on referrals, and respond to clients who reached out the previous day. Much of the morning is spent meeting with clients, either in person or by phone, to understand their needs and connect them with appropriate resources, documenting each interaction with clear and accurate case notes. Midday, they update resource lists and touch base with direct services staff to coordinate support for shared clients. In the afternoon, they attend a meeting with a community partner or visit a local organization to learn about new programs or services that could benefit clients. Returning to the office, they finish the day by updating tracking systems, returning final calls, and preparing for the next day’s follow-ups.
