Job summary

Orbital Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead the company’s marketing and communications efforts and manage a team of marketing professionals.

The role aligns marketing strategies with Orbital's growth plans and collaborates with executive leadership to strengthen brand and market visibility. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day activities, partner with business development and operations, and maintain a hands-on approach to execution while driving a thoughtful content

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive marketing and communications experience in B2B or similar environments.
• Experience managing or leading marketing professionals.
• Experience developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies.
• Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing, website management, social media, analytics, and content strategy.
• Experience with executive social media profiles and thought leadership content.
• Experience managing conferences, trade shows, and events.
• Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with executives and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the marketing team with priorities and performance.
• Develop and execute the annual marketing and communications plan.
• Strengthen brand, messaging, and market positioning across platforms.
• Manage company website content, UX, and analytics.
• Develop and execute an SEO strategy to improve visibility and opportunities.
• Lead social media strategy, especially LinkedIn for B2B audiences.
• Create thought leadership content with executives and subject matter experts.
• Plan and manage conferences, trade shows, sponsorships, and events.
