Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Solutions Specialist to connect clients with efficient, tailored logistics solutions. The role blends B2B sales, strategic planning, and problem-solving, requiring frequent in-person meetings to understand and meet customers’ freight needs.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in B2B sales, strong relationship skills, and the ability to collaborate with pricing and operations teams to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in B2B sales or equivalent.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel across assigned territory frequently.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers in person across the territory to build relationships and close deals.
• Provide responsive customer service and coordinate with operations.
• Assist customers with rate agreements and coordinate with pricing coordinators.
• Track monthly activities and report on account performance.
• Maintain knowledge of service offerings, rates and changes.
• Schedule weekly itineraries for coverage areas to maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with drivers and service centers to meet customer needs.
