Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Specialist to drive B2B freight solutions within a designated territory. You will cultivate strong relationships with customers, coordinate pricing and service details, and work closely with operations to exceed expectations.

Occasional travel to meet clients and provide responsive service is required. The role emphasizes problem solving, strategic planning, and building lasting partnerships in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in B2B sales or equivalent.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers and partners.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet customers in person and build relationships with key stakeholders.
• Keep customers informed of service points and improvements in company service.
• Assist customers with rate agreements and coordinate with pricing coordinators.
• Regularly check major accounts to ensure on-time service promises are met.
• Submit itineraries for coverage areas to maximize efficiency when visiting customers.
• Document daily sales calls and input into the company system.
• Handle customer complaints through appropriate channels.
