Nanshan America AAT LLC in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional service to OEM and distributor clients. You will liaise with Regional Sales Managers, Manufacturing Representatives, Operations, and Shipping to support orders and inquiries.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and at least three years in sales or customer service within manufacturing. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and knowledge of metals is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in sales or customer service in manufacturing or similar.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Suite.
• Highly detail-oriented.
• Knowledge of aluminum and/or metals industry a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Answer incoming calls from existing and prospective customers.
• Resolve orders, returns, shipments, and product issues professionally.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain loyalty.
• Process orders, credits, complaints, and inquiries.
• Verify information items, shipping methods, and product availability.
• Identify new business opportunities through cold calling and networking.
• Promote products and services including outsourcing of anodizing, paint, fabrication.
• Recognize cross-sell opportunities and convert inquiries into orders.
• Collaborate with department managers to execute commercial and key account strategies.
• Provide pricing recommendations based on market knowledge.
