Job summary

Palmer-Donavin is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Raleigh, NC to serve as the primary contact for customers in a wholesale B2B environment. You will assist with order placement, product information, pricing, delivery schedules, and account inquiries while supporting Outside Sales Representatives.

Strong communication, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset are essential to deliver exceptional service and maintain strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework or equivalent training preferred.
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
• General knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions related to product lines, pricing, credit terms, inventory levels, and delivery schedules.
• Enter, manage, and track customer orders while documenting interactions and follow-up activities.
• Resolve customer service concerns, billing issues, and process returns, exchanges, and refunds as needed.
• Upsell products and recommend related items to support sales growth.
• Provide support to Outside Sales Representatives and collaborate with internal departments.
