Job summary

Composites One is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary contact for customers, handling inquiries, order accuracy, and basic problem resolution. You will coordinate with sales, procurement, and technical teams to ensure customer expectations are met and pricing data is maintained in our ERP system.

The role emphasizes exceptional service, effective communication, and proactive support for back-orders, pricing, and setup of new customers and items.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience in a non-retail customer service environment.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures related to customer service.
• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to learn internal database and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the order fulfillment process in a manner that promotes positive relationships with customers and Team Members.
• Ensure timely and accurate order entry to achieve on-time delivery for stocked and non-stock items.
• Respond to inquiries from customers and Team Members via phone, email, chat, B2B and written correspondence.
• Resolve billing and order issues.
• Oversee new customer and new item setup following internal processes.
• Monitor customer inventory and alert sales and procurement when adverse stocking levels occur.
• Understand customers’ business needs and document support.
