Job summary

Composites One in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the primary contact for customers. You will respond to inquiries, enter orders accurately, provide non-technical problem resolution, anticipate customer needs and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet expectations.

The role includes maintaining customer accounts, managing back-orders, pricing support, and collaborating with Sales, Price Support and Procurement to ensure on-time delivery and high service

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience in a non-retail customer service environment
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures related to customer service
• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Proficient in MS Office, including Word and Excel
• Ability to learn internal database and software systems

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the order fulfillment process and maintain positive relationships with customers and team members
• Ensure timely and accurate order entry for stocked and non-stock items
• Complete customer quotes and respond to inquiries via phone, email, chat, or written correspondence
• Resolve billing and order issues
• Oversee new customer and new item setup following internal processes
• Monitor customer inventory and alert sales and procurement on adverse stocking levels
• Understand customers' business needs and align product stocking/forecasts with support
• Maintain accurate customer pricing in the ERP system and provide basic price quotes within margins
