Job summary

New Era Cap, LLC, headquartered in Buffalo, NY, seeks an Account Representative to build strong relationships with key accounts, manage orders, and collaborate with Sales and internal teams.

The role focuses on ensuring on-time shipments, resolving issues, and using SAP/BI to monitor order flow. This is a full-time, on-site position in Buffalo with opportunities to influence the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 1–3 years in Key Account Management, Customer Service, or customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to assigned accounts including national retailers and teams.
• Interact with accounts, sales reps and internal departments to resolve requests and issues promptly.
• Assess and resolve issues affecting service levels; collaborate with teams as needed.
• Coordinate with sales reps to implement action plans for service/compliance issues.
• Ensure orders ship on time within the accounting month; address delays root-cause analysis.
• Analyze SAP/BI data daily to keep orders timely and accurate.
• Handle returns negotiations and apply policies.
• Review EDI documents and exceptions daily.
• Ensure vendor compliance with internal requirements.
• Enter domestic and global orders into SAP as needed.
• Provide timely responses to account order inquiries.
• Provide images as requested by accounts.
• Analyze buying history to improve efficiency and drive improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
