Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a B-Level Automotive Technician for Napleton's St. Louis Nissan. You will perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, building customer trust through effective diagnostics and explanations.

This is a growth-focused role in a team-driven environment. Qualified candidates will have automotive technician experience, strong customer service, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience with repair and maintenance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Desire for ongoing training and certifications.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
• 18+ years of age for policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as per repair orders.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and staff.
• Stay updated on factory bulletins and training classes.
• Maintain an organized work area and inform management of issues.

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next B-Level Automotive Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. Located at Napleton's St. Louis Nissan, the B-Level Automotive Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver's License
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
