Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician at Napleton's Mid Rivers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat in St. Peters, MO.

The technician will perform vehicle repairs and maintenance to dealership and factory standards while building trust with customers through accurate diagnostics. Responsibilities include communicating with parts and service staff, diagnosing issues, and staying updated with factory bulletins.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on repair order per dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins and participate in training classes.
• Keep management informed of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Located at Napleton's Mid Rivers Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Fiat in St. Peters, MO the Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
• Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
• Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
• Maintains an organized work area
• Other duties as assigned by management

Job Requirements:

• Automotive Service Technician experience
• ASE certification desirable
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License
• Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screen in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy
