Job summary
Health Care Service Corporation is seeking a senior VDI engineer to improve the overall Virtual Desktop experience through automation and design. You will guide existing and future desktop virtualization architectures and roadmaps.
You will collaborate with Virtualization Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, and Infrastructure Service Management to build repeatable build-kits and accelerate deployments for prod and non-prod, while transitioning knowledge to Operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field with 5+ years IT experience
- Or technical certification with 7 years IT experience
- Or 9 years Information Technology experience
Responsibilities
- Improve overall Virtual Desktop (VDI) experience through automation and design
- Provide guidance for desktop virtualization architectures and roadmaps
- Collaborate with Virtualization Engineering, Infrastructure Operations and Service Management teams
- Design and build repeatable patterns (build-kits) to speed deployment for prod and non-prod environments
- Transition knowledge to Infrastructure Operations
