Job summary

HCSC Group seeks an experienced IT professional to elevate the VDI experience. You will design, automate, and operate Azure Virtual Desktop environments, collaborate with virtualization and infrastructure teams, and help migrate Citrix workloads to modern Azure-based solutions.

You will implement repeatable build-kits to accelerate deployments and share knowledge with Operations. The role emphasizes hands-on VDI expertise, FSLogix proficiency, and strong communication to align with business

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years in IT or 7+ years with certs or 9+ years IT exp.
Hands-on experience designing, building, configuring, operating, and supporting Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
Experience configuring AVD: host pools, session hosts, workspaces, application groups, desktop assignments, scaling, user access.
Strong FSLogix experience: profile containers, storage integration, troubleshooting, performance.
Experience with Microsoft RemoteApp / AVD RemoteApp for enterprise delivery.
Infrastructure Automation experience.
ITIL v3 experience.
Ability to simplify and standardize complex concepts and processes.
Understanding business priorities and market trends.
Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

Improve the VDI experience via automation and design.
Collaborate with Virtualization Engineering, Infrastructure Operations, and Service Management teams.
Design and build repeatable deployment patterns to speed up prod/non-prod environments.
Transition knowledge to Infrastructure Operations.
Support and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop and related workloads.
Migrate traditional Citrix workloads to Azure Virtual Desktop when needed.
