Job summary

Troon’s Corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer focused on Microsoft Azure infrastructure to support and maintain cloud-first environments. The role involves hands-on work across Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, and Microsoft cloud services, with collaboration across the engineering and cross-functional teams.

This full-time position at Troon’s headquarters in Scottsdale may require occasional travel for business needs.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or cloud operations.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
• Practical experience with Azure Virtual Networks and cloud networking concepts.
• Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) and Microsoft 365 services.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, support, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including VMs, storage, and VNets.
• Administer Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, VPN, private endpoints, and load balancers.
• Manage identity and access using Azure AD (Entra ID), RBAC, Conditional Access, and MFA.
• Monitor system performance, availability, security, and cost with Azure tools.
• Participate in cloud deployment, upgrades, and platform improvements.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and identity issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver secure cloud solutions.
