Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or platform engineering.
• 3+ years designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred).
• Proven experience defining and governing enterprise data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the end-to-end architecture for the analytics platform.
• Establish architectural standards for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
• Design integration patterns between source systems and downstream applications.
• Lead architecture decisions for Azure services and Fabric components.
• Define and enforce data modeling standards for dimensional modeling.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and application developers.

Skills

Deep expertise in Azure data services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, etc.)

Strong understanding of Microsoft Fabric architecture and components

Expertise in data architecture patterns (lakehouse, medallion, dimensional modeling)

Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT, and pipeline design

Understanding of distributed data processing (e.g., Spark, Databricks)

Experience designing secure, scalable, and high-performance data systems

Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture

Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
