Job summary
Cognizant is seeking an experienced Azure Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, performance, scalability, and security of Azure-based applications and infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on Azure experience, SRE practices, IaC, observability, automation, and production support across Azure services and DevOps pipelines. Remote in USA with competitive benefits.
Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and production workloads.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services (VMs, App Services, Storage, Key Vault, Load Balancers, AKS).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
- Solid monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure-native tools; incident management skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support production and non-production workloads on Microsoft Azure.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available Azure solutions.
- Automate operational tasks to improve platform reliability and reduce manual work.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Implement comprehensive observability with monitoring, logs, and dashboards.
- Collaborate with security, networking, and application teams to drive improvements.
