Cynet Systems is seeking an Azure DB Developer for a contract role in Montvale, NJ. You will design, implement, and optimize Azure SQL/SQL Server databases, deliver T-SQL code, and ensure performance and data integrity.

• Strong experience as a Senior Database Developer or equivalent role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Azure SQL / SQL Server databases to support enterprise grade applications.
• Develop and optimize T SQL, stored procedures, functions, views, and indexes.
• Ensure database performance, scalability, availability, and data integrity.
• Partner closely with application developers to support backend and full stack features.
• Implement and manage database deployments using PowerShell and automated release pipelines.
• Support CI/CD workflows using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Perform schema versioning, migration, partitioning, and release coordination across environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform performance tuning, and root cause analysis.
• Enforce database security, access controls, and best practices.
