Job summary

Convene Inc. in Tampa, FL is seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer with strong development experience. The role blends cloud automation, reliability engineering, CI/CD excellence, and hands-on coding to ensure scalable, secure systems across Azure.

You will design pipelines, implement SRE practices, develop automation in C#, Python or PowerShell, and manage IaC with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates. Collaboration with product teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Azure DevOps, SRE or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on coding with C#, Python or PowerShell.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, and Boards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines (YAML CI/CD) for deployments.
• Implement observability, incidents, postmortems, error budgets, and SLOs.
• Develop automation tools using C#, Python, or PowerShell.
• Build IaC using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Manage Azure resources including AKS, App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, API Management, Azure SQL.
• Set up monitoring with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana/Prometheus.
• Improve reliability via performance tuning, capacity planning, chaos engineering, resilience testing.
• Collaborate with development teams for cloud-native, reliable apps.
• Support containerization with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Drive release automation and cloud governance; participate in on-call rotations.
