Job summary

Merative seeks a mid-level DevOps Engineer to build and operate SCIA automation platform in Azure, delivering IaC, pipelines, and tooling that improve security, reliability, and cost efficiency.

You will design ARM-based IaC, run CI/CD in Jenkins and GitHub, automate patching, scaling, and governance, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with application teams in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infra automation.
• Hands-on experience deploying workloads in Microsoft Azure.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• 2–5 years using JavaScript/TypeScript for automation/CI/CD.
• Experience in enterprise environments with formal change management and release controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, enhance, and maintain Azure Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM modules.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins and GitHub to validate, package, and release automation.
• Develop automation for patching, scaling, diagnostics, cost optimization, and policy compliance.
• Lead onboarding engagements and resolve deployment or configuration issues.
• Participate in PI planning, backlog refinement, and change-managed releases.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
