Job summary

Arizona Medical Board is seeking a skilled Cloud Systems Administrator to manage cloud infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Azure. This contract-to-hire role requires a Hybrid work model, with on-site presence in Phoenix for the first 2-3 months.

The candidate will support critical state agency operations and ensure high availability, security, and performance. Responsibilities include managing Azure resources, DNS, AD, and IaaS/PaaS/SaaS services, while leveraging Workspace Analytics for

Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
Contract-to-hire eligible; local Phoenix candidate preferred.
Hybrid work model with initial on-site period required in Phoenix.

Responsibilities

Oversee Azure solutions deployment and maintenance.
Manage compute, storage, networking, and security in Azure.
Provide Tier 2 desktop support and create KBs for Tier 1.
Administer DNS, Domain Controllers, and Azure AD including Hybrid Join/AAD Connect.
Maintain Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services (SQL databases, web apps).
Use Workspace Analytics to monitor system health and security.
Coordinate asset tracking with Support Services.
Enforce endpoint security with Intune and MDM solutions.
Automate admin tasks and manage certificates and recovery vaults.
Lead vulnerability remediation across agency systems.
