Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an Azure specialist to manage cloud environments (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), administer DNS and Azure Active Directory, and maintain endpoint security using Intune and MDM. The role provides Tier 2 desktop support and requires background checks and Phoenix-area residency.

This full-time position is W2 with no visa sponsorship. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in Azure monitoring tools and Workspace Analytics, plus experience with VPNs and web app service plans.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud required.
• Tier 2 desktop support experience required.
• DNS administration experience required.
• U.S. citizenship or green card required.
• Visa sponsorship unavailable; permanent conversion eligible.
• Phoenix metro residents only.
• W2 employment only; no C2C.
• Must pass HireRight background check and drug screening.
• In-person interview within a week of close.
• Start within two weeks of offer.

Responsibilities

• Manage the state agency's Azure environment (compute, storage, networking, security).
• Administer DNS, Domain Controllers, and Azure AD including Hybrid Join and AAD Connect.
• Maintain Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS services (SQL databases, Web App service plans).
• Manage endpoint security and device compliance via Intune and MDM.
• Provide Tier 2 desktop support.
• Create knowledge-base documentation for Tier 1 service desk.
• Manage certificate lifecycles
• Remediate vulnerabilities
