Job summary

PAE seeks a Cloud Platform Specialist to design secure, scalable, production-ready environments across Azure, supporting AI initiatives and citizen development. You will manage intake, review, and promotion processes for applications, and maintain proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and Azure IaaS to support Core Services.

Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, applying IaC with Bicep/Terraform, and enforcing governance for AI workloads and data classification.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure including compute, networking, identity and security services.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools including Bicep and Terraform.
• Familiarity with containerization concepts including Docker and Linux-based runtimes for Azure workloads.
• Experience reviewing citizen-developed apps for production readiness, security posture, and supportability.
• Experience with Power Platform governance including DLP policy configuration and environment strategy.
• Solid understanding of IAM; Azure AD/Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC, app registrations, and service principals.
• Experience governing Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, or equivalent AI/ML platforms.
• Familiarity with data classification frameworks for cloud workloads and AI pipelines.
• Working-level proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, and Azure IaaS administration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable hosting environments in Azure with dev/test/UAT/prod segmentation.
• Establish identity, access, and secret management across environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and standardize release workflows.
• Define approved patterns for containerized workloads and serverless compute in Azure.
• Ensure logging, monitoring, and compliance are built into environments by design.
• Govern citizen development intake, review, and promotion for security and operations.
