Job summary

Largeton Group in Libertyville, IL seeks a Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and optimize Azure cloud services and network solutions across on-prem and cloud environments. You will automate infrastructure with ARM, Terraform, PowerShell, and CI/CD; lead projects, enforce security policies per ISO/NIST, and support Zero Trust & IAM including Azure AD.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, and implement Azure cloud services (VMs, App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage, Monitoring).
• Architect and deploy cloud network solutions (VNETs, Subnets, NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, SDWAN).
• Automate infrastructure with ARM, Terraform, PowerShell, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize cloud performance and costs via autoscaling, load balancing, and reserved instances.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, availability, and security across cloud/network solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance and resilient systems.
• Stay updated on cloud networking technology trends.
• Lead infrastructure projects with scope, timelines, and resources; oversee progress.
• Implement and enforce security policies; ensure ISO/NIST compliance; remediate vulnerabilities.
• Support Zero Trust, IAM including Azure AD and RBAC.
• Manage vendor relationships; evaluate technology vendors and SLAs.
• Plan and test disaster recovery and business continuity (Azure Site Recovery, Backup, Geo Redundancy).
• Assess and document enterprise LAN/WAN/Fiber/Voice environments (on-prem and cloud).
• Produce architecture, configuration, capacity, performance, and risk reports.
• Foster collaborative, proactive troubleshooting within the team.
