Job summary

Recru seeks an experienced Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead design, implementation, and modernization of enterprise cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. This hands-on architect role blends strategic planning with technical execution.

You will establish governance, Landing Zone standards, and drive migration from on-prem to Azure while ensuring security, resilience, and cost optimization across complex environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 5 years focused on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Azure environments.
• Expertise with Azure networking, storage, compute, security, and identity services.
• Deep knowledge of cloud governance, Azure Landing Zones, and operational best practices.
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud and hybrid identity environments.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Develop cloud architecture standards, governance, and Landing Zone strategies.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization from on-premises to Azure.
• Architect Azure networking solutions (VNets, ExpressRoute, VPNs, NSGs, Azure Firewall).
• Design IAM solutions using Entra ID/Azure AD, RBAC, and Privileged Identity Management.
• Develop IaC solutions using Terraform, Bicep, and ARM Templates.
• Establish disaster recovery, backup, and high-availability architectures.
• Drive automation to improve provisioning, monitoring, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on cloud security and compliance.
• Optimize environments for performance, reliability, and cost management.
