Job summary

DLA Piper LLP in Reston, VA is seeking a Sr Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to shape and operate the firm’s cloud and network architecture in a hybrid environment. You will design Azure-based infrastructure for global workloads, develop landing zone and cloud governance, and implement hub-and-spoke networking with hybrid connectivity.

You will build IaC with Terraform and ARM templates, automate provisioning via PowerShell and Python, and manage VNets, ExpressRoute, and security boundaries.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT/cloud infrastructure experience.
• Proven scripting with PowerShell and Python.
• Experience designing Azure/AWS infrastructure and security.
• Ability to communicate with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Azure-based infrastructure supporting global workloads.
• Develop landing zone architecture and scalable cloud governance model.
• Design, implement and manage hub-and-spoke network topology with hybrid connectivity and SD-WAN integration.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and ARM templates.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management using PowerShell, Python, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Azure networking services including VNets, subnets, routing, VPN/ExpressRoute, and security boundaries.
