Job summary

Liquid Environmental Solutions Corporation seeks a Network Security Engineer to safeguard our WAN/LAN/voice and cloud infrastructure with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity and Azure security.

You will work with internal IT teams and external providers to defend against threats, maintain firewalls, IAM controls, and backups, and contribute to our overall security posture across on-premises and Azure resources.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in IT with network security focus.
• Experience with cloud security in Azure and on-premise networks.
• Strong knowledge of security controls, IAM, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Harden network and cloud environment against malware, ransomware, and intrusion.
• Design, implement, and maintain security controls within Microsoft Azure (Azure AD/Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, RBAC).
• Monitor alerts from Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and partner tooling; escalate high-risk issues promptly.
• Configure Cisco Meraki security settings, subnetting, and access groups to enforce least privilege.
• Maintain Azure network security components (NSGs, Azure Firewall, VPN/ExpressRoute, Azure Bastion).
• Support IAM initiatives including device hardening, SSO, and Group Policy baselines.
• Ensure secure, tested backups of critical systems (Nutanix, Cohesity) with ransomware-resilient practices.
• Participate in vulnerability management (Intune/WSUS) and prioritize remediation of high-severity findings.
• Maintain and improve security documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Assist in security awareness and audits/compliance evidence.
