Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer in Richmond, VA, to join the Eng and Ops team. The role covers engineering, application support, and rotational help-desk duties within the Tolling group, including API Gateways, AVD, App Insights, and Office 365.

Responsibilities include cloud resource implementation, security and IAM, governance artifacts, and ongoing troubleshooting across Azure services. A fingerprint-based background check is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Microsoft Azure services (administration/engineering)
• 3+ years supporting VDOT/E-ZPass tolling tech and cloud workloads
• Experience in Windows environments
• Experience with Office 365 services and Entra ID
• Scripting with PowerShell and/or Python
• Knowledge of PCI or similar compliance frameworks

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement cloud resources in the Tolling Azure environment
• Ensure security, IAM, network controls, and cost governance compliance
• Maintain and improve infrastructure documentation and cloud governance artifacts
• Assist with access reviews, role assignments, and IAM evaluations
• Manage vendor updates and ensure compatibility
• Implement fault-tolerant and highly available Azure solutions
