Job summary

IntelliBee in Virginia is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to maintain and optimize cloud resources within the Tolling Azure environment. You will ensure security, IAM, and cost governance while documenting infrastructure and governance artifacts.

You will collaborate with architects and cross‑functional teams, implement fault‑tolerant Azure solutions, and support 24/7 operations as needed. Strong communication and Windows/PowerShell skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience supporting Virginia tolling apps, infra, and cloud workloads, incl. diagnostics.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Windows environments.
• Rubrik backup & recovery for Azure IaaS/PaaS incl. policy and DR validation.
• Office 365 services and SSO (Entra ID).
• Secret Server privileged access vaults management.
• PowerShell and Python scripting.
• Ability to document network/topology and data flows.
• Azure Virtual Desktops and Power Apps experience.
• PCI or similar compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and implements cloud resources in Azure for Tolling environment.
• Ensure compliance with state policies on security, IAM, networking, and cost governance.
• Improve infrastructure documentation, naming, tagging, and governance artifacts.
• Assist with access reviews and least‑privilege IAM evaluations.
• Manage vendor updates and ensure compatibility.
• Implement fault‑tolerant and highly available Azure solutions.
• Monitor Azure services and troubleshoot connectivity, security, and performance issues.
• Document root causes and support incident reviews; participate in on‑call as needed.
• Understand end‑to‑end data flows and optimize data movements.
• Collaborate across teams to leverage Azure services effectively.
