Job summary

Yakshna Solutions, Inc is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to support Tolling Azure environments, focusing on security, IAM, and cost governance. You will work with the Engineer and Operations teams on API Gateways, AVD, App Insights, and Office 365.

Responsibilities include maintaining cloud resources, ensuring uptime, incident reviews, and data flow understanding across tolling systems, roadway data, and reporting tools. The role requires strong Azure, scripting, and Office 365 skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure services.
Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting Virginia tolling applications and cloud workloads.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent.
Strong communication of requirements and design concepts.
Experience in Windows environments.
Experience with Rubrik backup/recovery for Azure IaaS/PaaS.
Experience with Office 365 services and SSO (Entra ID).
Experience administering Secret Server privileged access vaults.
Solid scripting experience (PowerShell and/or Python).
Ability to create network and system topology documentation.
Experience with Azure Virtual Desktops.
Office 365 and Power Apps experience.
Azure certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Maintain and implement cloud resources in the Tolling Azure environment.
Ensure compliance with Virginia government security policies and cost governance.
Maintain infrastructure docs, naming conventions, tagging, and governance artifacts.
Assist with IAM role assignments and least-privilege evaluations.
Implement fault-tolerant and highly available Azure solutions.
Monitor Azure services and workloads to ensure uptime.
Troubleshoot connectivity, security, and performance issues.
Perform deep-dives using logs, metrics, and Azure Monitor.
Analyze and tune system performance.
Participate in daily/weekly operational cycles and incident reviews.
Triage production issues and document root causes.
Define change requests and rollback procedures.
Understand end-to-end tolling data flows and reporting tools.
Support data integrations and movement optimizations.
Apply PCI or other regulatory compliance considerations when evaluating logging.
Manage key vaults, passwords, and certificates.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to use Azure services effectively.
Provide guidance on SaaS/PAAS/IaaS best practices.
Communicate clearly with stakeholders.
Support multiple concurrent projects of complex scope.
