Job summary

My3tech is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer to join the Eng and Ops team in Virginia. The role covers cloud operations, engineering, application support, and rotational help-desk tasks within the Tolling group, using API Gateways, AVD, App Insights, and Office 365.

You will maintain Azure resources, enforce security and cost governance, document infrastructure, perform access reviews, and ensure high availability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Microsoft Azure experience in production environments.
• Experience supporting Virginia tolling applications or transportation tech is preferred.
• Experience with Windows environments and scripting (PowerShell or Python).
• Knowledge of PCI or other regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement cloud resources in the Tolling Azure environment.
• Ensure security IAM, network controls, and cost governance compliance.
• Maintain infrastructure docs, tagging, and governance artifacts.
• Perform fault-tolerant and highly available Azure solutions.
• Monitor services with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics; diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers across teams.
• Support off-hours work and change plans.
